Volunteer Opportunities

Paulding Community Back to School Event – each year Paulding Family Connection coordinates a back to school event to provide Paulding County students who need help with backpacks and school supplies. This event is held in July before the new school year begins. Help is needed to collect donations of backpacks; supplies or $$ to fill 1,000 backpacks with the basic school supplies needed the first day of school!! CASA Paulding: Court Appointed Special Advocates is a nationwide organization relying on volunteer “CASAs” to work directly with children in protective custody to be their voice and advocate for them with the juvenile court system. High School Reality Fairs: each Paulding County High School provides a Reality Fair to help  8th grade students get a sample of real life giving them insight into the need for budgeting their time and money. Truth in Nature: a Christian mentoring program for middle and high school boys living in single parent homes. They hunt, fish and worship in nature.
